Updates and Changes

Tyler and I are getting married in less than six months. The time since we got engaged has gone by so fast. I imagine the wedding will be here in no time! We unfortunately have A LOT left to get done. It's finally coming to the time where I can actually get a few things done that it was too early to do before. I was a little stressed out when I recently looked at my wedding to do list, but I have calmed down since then. I know it'll all get done. I have some great friends and family members helping me.

I do have a few updates. One, for those who don't know, Dima will not be in my wedding. She felt for personal reasons that it was best if she was not. That is perfectly fine with me. All I care about is that she'll be there to see our special day! And I know she's planning on that. Two, Shannon is going to be one of my bridesmaids. I've grown a lot closer to Shannon in the last few months, and our friendship has really strengthened. I can't imagine not having one of my closest friends in my wedding. Three, Kari and I had a discussion and both agreed that it would be less stressful for her and better for me if she was not my matron of honor. She is still going to be a bridesmaid. She's my best friend and like a sister to me! Even though due to how busy her life is she can not fulfill all the Maid of Honor duties she still means just as much to me! Ashley, Tyler's sister, is now my Maid of Honor! I am very excited about this. I think she'll be great at it, and I also think it is going to be a good opportunity to grow closer to my future sister in law. I am very excited about the wedding and all the fun things that are going to happen.

We should be sending invitations out sometime next month, so expect them soon! We also should be taking engagment pictures in the near future. I need to speak with our photographer about that one. I think that is all the wedding updates for now :)

This week has been a good, but long week. I don't know why the days are dragging, but they are. Jane's gone so that's been nice. It so much more relaxed around here without her.

Tyler and I have a busy weekend ahead of us, but still I am excited about it! We're going to a Duke football game again this Saturday. My Dad is out of the country so he gave me and Tyler his tickets. We're hoping to go to Tyler's parents house at some point. Tyler works Sunday, but I'll probably take my nieces off and do something with them. I'm planning on trying to go to church with Shannon and Kari Sunday morning, but I've been trying that for three weeks now and things keep coming up.

Ha and Kari just sent us the funniest email! She's hilarious!
