It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.....

So it's getting to be the holiday season. Halloween is just a week away. Tyler and I are throwing a Halloween party November 1st. I'm not sure how many people will be there, but whether it's thirty or three it is all the same to us. The purpose in it is to have an excuse to dress up, and hang out with some of our awesome friends. I'm very excited about it.

I love this time a year. It's beautiful outside. The weather is nice and cold. It's the perfect time to cuddle under a blanket with that special someone or by yourself and drink hot chocolate or hot apple cider. The smell in the air is different. People begin to be in cheery moods. You get to watch all the wonderful holiday movies, not to mention football! The leaves change colors and then begin to fall off the trees. Christmas lights start to appear. It's all so magical and wonderful! I LOVE this time of year.

It's the most wonderful time of the year, but unfortunately it is also the busiest. And this year seems as if it is going to be especially busy for us. There's the normal Christmas shopping. On top of that my family has the knack of giving birth to children between the months of October and January. From the middle of October to the first week in January we will have celebrated a total of eleven birthdays. It's a lot of fun, but very time consuming. On top of Christmas and birthdays Tyler and I have wedding planning to do. Woot Woot! We have a lot to get done for it, but I'm not worried. It'll all come together perfectly! I have the Best Maid of Honor anybody could ask for. And I have amazing bridesmaids. They are just incredible! And I have an awesome mother and soon to be mother in law. Not to mention my aunt and the rest of the family. With their help this whole wedding planning thing should go quite smoothly.

Tomorrow Ashley and I are going to David's Bridal to look at some bridesmaid dresses colors. I am torn between the plum and the wine. I'm leaning towards plum, but I want to actually see what they look like on a person before I decide for sure. I also am going to try on a few of the wedding gowns while I am there just in case Kim's doesn't fit. Then Saturday I have to go get my nails done, and then we are going over to Kari and Matt's to see Mookie!!!! I'm so excited about that one! Then Monday we have engagement pictures. We are meeting our photographer on the seminary campus to take pictures with all the fall colors from the trees. It will be beautiful. I'll put the pictures up on facebook as soon as we get them back. One evening next week I have to go to Kim's in order to try on her dress. On Wednesday, Kari, Shannon, Jennifer, Ble, and I are all going to a haunted house. We're leaving the men at Shannon's so they can hang out and do whatever guys do. I've never been to a haunted house before so it should be really fun. I can only hope that I don't pee myself or cry. lol. I'm going to have to figure out some time this week to work on my Halloween costume. I'm going to be Poison Ivy. That was Shannon's idea. She's a genius! Then Saturday is our party. We have a million other things planned in the weeks following, but I am really excited about this week. I can already tell that the holiday season is upon us. Soon free time and down time will be a thing of the past. But it's good, because that just means we are spending more time with our wonderful friends and family! Yay!
