This past weekend was one of my three day weekends. I'm starting to really like this new schedule. Now that I've gotten use to staying until five, it's not so bad. On Friday, Tyler and I went to his parents to hang out with Jordan and go swimming for a little while. The rest of the family was at the beach. I mostly just laid out the whole time while the boys played video games. I also got on the computer while I was over there, and I learned some things about a few people. It was much needed information, even if it was drama filled. Hopefully it's all over and done with now, and I won't have to worry about it again. Despite the drama it was still a really good day!
Saturday was the best day of the weekend for me. After I had breakfast, I looked at Tyler and said, "Guess what?" He said, "What?" And I said, "we have absolutely nothing to do today. No plans, nothing. It's amazing!" I was so excited about having a day where there was nothing we had to get done! I ended up cleaning up a little and turbo jamming my ass off, but besides that we pretty much did nothing. I just sat and read. I finished, "I am Legend", and I still haven't decided whether I actually like the book or not. lol. It's thought provoking, but kind of strange. I'm not so sure I liked the ending at all! I don't know. It's definitely not going to go down as one of my favorites. Hopefully I can have some more days like Saturday soon! I loved it!
On Sunday Tyler and I took my nieces over to his parents to go swimming. They love swimming and it's not something they get to do very often. We had them wear their water wings and play for a while. Then I told them they needed to take off their water wings and try to actually swim. We made sure they stayed in the shallow end. DoRee, the brave little soul, tried several times to swim without water wings. She wasn't so successful at it. That was mainly because she wouldn't keep moving her arms. It was actually kind of funny and very cute! Emmy, chicken little herself, ofcourse wouldn't try at all. They'll both get there eventually. I have a feeling one sooner than the other! DoRee was upset that Tyler's mommy and Ashley weren't there. She said that Ashley had fun playing with her so she wanted her there. By the time we left, my body was very sore. DoRee wanted to be bounced constantly, and both the girls had a couple of chicken fights. We had a lot of fun! I always love seeing the little monkeys! As Tyler said when I told him that he was my favorite person in the world (I tell him this often). He said, "No I'm your second favorite." I said, "Really, who's my first?" He pointed towards the girls. I said, "which one?" He said, "Both of them. They are two half people, so they make one whole person and that's your favorite person." He's almost right about that, but not quite. He's still my first favorite! :)
