I'm making dinner tonight!

Okay so first off, I have some really exciting news! Well for me it's exciting. Nobody else probably cares at all, but Josie and her husband Johnnie have decided to try to become vegetarians! I let Josie borrow "Skinny Bitch" and "Slaughterhouse" on Wednesday when she came over. She got a little over half way through "Skinny Bitch" and decided to not eat meat! Like I've said before, Ignorance is bliss. If you want to keep eating meat, don't read that book. Personally though, I'd rather know the truth and take control of my health! And I of course always get excited when my friends do something good for themselves! I hope they're able to stick with it!!!!!!

By the way, Josie and Johnny also loved Trader Joe's! That's because it is the Best grocery store ever :) So you should all check it out sometime, vegetarian or not!

So I was looking up some vegetarian recipes on vegfamily.com. I've been wanting to find some new things that I can make that both Tyler and I can eat. Also I just kind of wanting to make him dinner just because. He always makes dinner and does so much for me. He spoils me rotten! So it's time I try to do the same with him. Well I found this recipe that looks really good! It's Penne with Sweet Red Pepper Sauce. The only thing is it has tofu in it. I don't mind tofu. It just takes the taste of whatever's around it, so it's no big deal to me. However, Tyler swears he hates tofu! I've never seen him eat it, so I'm not so sure that he just doesn't want to try it. And I can't blame him. I mean before I went vegetarian I wouldn't touch the stuff! It looks absolutely disgusting, but it doesn't taste all that bad.

Well I told Tyler that I was making him dinner tonight. I also told him he had to stay out of the kitchen while I make it and just rest. He got suspicious of this statement, and he said, "why? what are you putting into it?" I told him nothing, but I don't think he believed me. We'll see. I'm hoping I can pull it off, and he won't figure it out! I'm also hoping that I don't mess up the recipe just from the mere fact that I suck at cooking! We'll see. Ask me later tonight how it went.
