Spring is here, Summer is coming!

I have been stuck inside all week, and I think it’s starting to get to me. I usually go on 3 walks a day outside during my breaks at work. I also usually go for a run with Brindy a few times a week. But I’ve been stuck inside all week due to this wretched pollen. My allergies are killing me. I’m really not use to it being this bad. Tyler was playing fetch outside with Brindy yesterday. As Brindy would run clouds of green pollen would puff up. The fact that it’s also been in the 90s hasn’t helped anything either. It’s suppose to cool down and rain tomorrow night, so hopefully that’ll help wash away some of the grossness, and I will be able to at least go for a walk.

We also need to mow the lawn, and I’m sure Tyler will end up being the one to mow it. I guess I should go get him a mask. Speaking of lawns, we don’t really have any grass. Lol, most of it is weeds. In fact, our back yard looks like a dandelion farm. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to kill the massive amounts of weeds without killing the little grass that we have? We may just have to kill it all off this summer, and plant grass seed in the fall. Our yard will be ugly and brown for a while, but at least there won’t be any weeds. We also wouldn’t have to mow all summer. We’ve been trying to figure out what trees and flowers we want to plant where. We can busy ourselves doing that planting while the grass is dead : )

Random Story that I thought was cute and funny: On my way to work today I got stuck in a little traffic jam, because a pair of Canadian geese were crossing the highway. Everyone either had to stop completely or swerve to avoid hitting them.

Back to the going ons of me ;p
I believe we finally figured out exactly when we’re going to Ohio this year to visit Tyler’s Grandma, Grandpa, Dad, and Uncles. We’re going July 2nd through the 8th. I’m so excited. I love going up there. I love the atmosphere. I LOVE Grandpa Cole and Grandma Dekin. I love Grandma’s food. She’s an amazing cook. Grandpa is the sweetest old man and he spoils us rotten. I love playing hand and foot with Grandpa, Uncle Andy, and Tyler’s Dad. I love seeing the Amish people. I’m weird I know. I love buying tons of cheap produce. I love going to Cedar Point and the Columbus Zoo. I love shopping, because their summer clothes start going on clearance much earlier than ours do. I just love it all. It’s always so laid back when we go up there. And of course no one will let us clean, cook, or pay for anything so it’s like a real break. We’re up in the air as far as whose going with us. Tyler’s little sis Mallory is definitely going with us. This will be the first year that it's been anybody more than me and Tyler going since we've been together. I’m not sure about Tyler’s other sister, Ashley, and her boyfriend, Andrew. They'll probably go up there at the same time, but leave a few days earlier. And I have no clue about Tyler’s brother, Jordan. But no matter who goes it’s going to be fun, and I’m super excited. Just 3 months away!

We are also planning a beach trip for sometime in May. One of Tyler’s friends at work owns a beach house, and she has offered to let us use it for a weekend in May. I love the beach. I’m hoping to be able to lose some weight or at least get smaller in the next month or so. That way I can try and pull off that two piece I bought……without putting a tank top over it.

Oh and I hope everybody caught that NCAA championship game! It was a nerve wrecking game, but Duke won. That makes me very happy :-D

Spring and Summer are always bringing fun times! Spring also brought the pollen, which was not cool at all. Summer usually brings the humidity, which is also not cool. But I can deal with the pollen and humidity if I’m having fun with the ones I love!
