So yesterday was the first day that it truly dawned on me how extremely close our wedding day is! I got off at one yesterday. My Dad wanted to take me out to lunch. We hadn't seen each other in a while. So we ate, and then Tyler and I headed downtown to get our marriage license. I think the whole marriage license thing is what really got me. We both of course had those goofy smiles on our faces while we were signing them! I honestly thought that getting a marriage license would be a little more hectic than it was. We were in and out of the place in ten minutes. That is really saying something for a government facility!!!!
After that was done we decided to head on over to Crabtree. We are having a candy bar at our wedding. This will be in place of wedding favors. Well I really wanted the candies to match our wedding colors, purple and silver. So far we have been very fortunate due to Valentines and Easter to actually find a fair amount of candies in these colors, but I wanted a few more. Well we went to the candy shop in Crabtree and found exactly what we wanted! So I can now officially mark that off of the to do list!
After leaving Crabtree we went over to Triangle Town Center. I had to get my ring cleaned and buy a pair of pearl earrings to go with my Great Grandmother's pearl necklace that I will be wearing on wedding day. While we were at the mall, we also bought a pearl necklace, bracelet, and earrings for Donna Marie. We got Emily Jane and Sydni some butterfly earrings to go with the necklaces that I already got them. Tyler went and got his final pre-wedding haircut!!! I also got my hair trimmed while we were up there. Tyler picked up his grooms men's gifts from Things Remembered. We also ordered engraved flutes for the wedding toast! They were beautiful! I can't wait to get them back.
We've stayed busy lately and will continue to stay busy for the next two weeks. We have a lot of things to get done in the next ten days!!! But we'll get there, and I don't know, I think it will just be perfect! I can't wait to marry this wonderful man!!!!! Haha, and you guys probably can't wait for me to marry him either, so I can stop talking about wedding stuff! Just ten more days!
