The First day of the rest of my life!

As most of you know, Tyler and I got married this past Saturday. I figured I'd update those who weren't able to make it on how things went. Friday was fun. We had a lovely rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. I have pictures of that on my facebook, if you desire to see them. After dinner, I had to tell Tyler good bye. This was hard. It was going to be the first night we had spent apart from each other since we moved in together. Ashley made wonderful disgusted noises when we kissed good bye several times. lol, sisters. I drugged myself that night, and was able to sleep pretty well. I had Ashley in the bed with me, and Mallory was in the bed next to us. Mallory was very creeped out by the bed and breakfast. It was amusing actually. She didn't like all the old stuff. Clearly she has seen way too many scary movies. But overall, we all slept well. Ashley didn't kick me at all, and according to her I was successful in not kicking her. That in itself is amazing, considering how much I usually move in my sleep. We got up about 8 am. Mallory was less than excited about this. I have early morning pictures on my facebook as well.

We headed down for breakfast around 8:30. The breakfast was amazing and beautiful! It tasted so good!(pictures of it on my facebook). Then the crazy hair dresser came. She arrived at about 9:00, and she was quite scary. She had a mullet and was so red neck!!!! We were very concerned by this, but she did an awesome job on our hair, so that is all that matters. I also have pictures of both the hair dresser and us getting our hair done on my facebook :) Mallory got her hair done first, then me, then Ashley. Kim showed up at about 10:30 and got her hair done. We enjoyed some girl time, and just had fun talking. We made sure to have Tyler pick up what we needed, and all those kind of things over the phone. Ashley would not even let me talk to him on the phone. This was very hard for me.

The photographer showed up at about twelve. He began taking getting ready pictures, and all those kind of things. Jordan, Tyler, and Allie showed up around 1:30. I was stuck in the room after that. Matthew showed up with Donna Marie and Emily Jane around 2:00. I loved having them there! They looked so precious in their dresses! Stephen, Sydni, and Cole arrived about 2:30 and Kim got them ready. They looked adorable as well. At about 4:00 people started showing up, and this is when I began to get nervous. lol, very nervous. I had been fine all day. I hadn't been stressed or nervous or scared at all, but it suddenly all just hit me. It happened right after the photographer had us go out and take pictures with my bridesmaids. This last hour before the wedding is actually a bit of a blur for me. I just remember Ashley telling me to sit down on the couch. She told me not to get up or worry about anything, and she brought me a glass of ice water. Really I couldn't hardly get up in my dress anyway, so it didn't much matter. But I was very thankful to have Ashley there to calm me down.

The next thing I know the wedding planner is telling me we need to go down stairs. My Dad helps me up, and we wait by the window as we watch my beautiful bridesmaids walk. Then comes the "here comes the bride" song. I have my hand in the hook of my Daddy's arm, and we are walking. He's starting to tear up. I smile at all the guests as I walk up. I look up, and I see Tyler looking at me with the biggest, sweetest smile on his face. After I saw him nothing else seemed to matter. Neither of us remember what the preacher said. We just stood there with our hands in each others, staring into each other's eyes. It was the perfect, most beautiful moment of my life!!! He looked at me with so much love and adoration, that I can't even describe it. We walked back up the aisle together after we said our vows. Then we took more pictures, and headed to the reception. The reception was beautiful as well. We danced, we ate, we had so much fun! It was in all honesty, the perfect day! I could not ask for more!

I am madly in love with this man. I love the look in his eyes when he sees me, the smile on his face, his laugh, and the way he loves me. And I plan to be with him "forevermore" as we said in our vows!!!! I'll add a few pics below that Mallory and Allie put up on their facebooks. We won't have our wedding pictures back for another week or so. But when we do I'll put them up on flicker with our engagement pictures :)
