The future looks Bright......so I bought a pair of sunglasses :)

I haven't written in about two weeks, which is strange for me. It doesn't seem like it was that long ago. But as I always say, Time just seems to fly as I get older! A lot has happened in the last few weeks! Birthdays, Mothers Day, Canes winning and now going to the Eastern Conference finals, all that kind of stuff. Also God has really been working on my heart lately. I mean he has shown me so many things, and has just really drawn me close to him. There are a few projects he has laid on my heart, and I'm beginning to work on them. He's opening up doors, and it all just seems to fit so perfectly. I'm trusting in him to continue to lead me in His ways!

For those who didn't know, Brit and I truly reconciled after mine and Tyler's wedding. I had forgiven her a long time ago for the things she had done to hurt me, even if she had never said sorry. I was no longer holding a grudge against her. I haven't for a while. But it was nice to hear her acknowledge and apologize for what was done. And it felt good for me to be able to apologize for the ways in which I had hurt her and our friendship. It is really wonderful to have those wounds completely healed. It's even more wonderful to be able to communicate with and love Brit on that level again. Well, God really put on my heart that I should see if Brit and a few other of my wonderful lady friends would like to start a bible study. They were very excited about this idea. So very soon (in the next two weeks or so) we will be starting a women's bible study at mine and Tyler's house. I'm sooooooo excited about this! It's been a long time since I've been able to enjoy this kind of fellowship with other women, and have had others to truly hold me accountable! I can't wait. And believe it or not, Tyler has also been EXTREMELY open to this all! That is a blessing as well.

I will also begin attending church Sunday. I need to get back in with a body of believers. First, Tyler (if he's not working) and I will be going with Brit to Crossroads in Raleigh. If I like it there then I'll stay, but if not I'll continue to search until we find the church that is just the right fit for me and Tyler.

We also get our puppy this weekend!!!! You have no idea how excited I am about that!!!! I can't wait to bring her home! We went out last night and bought her food, treats, a collar, leash, and some toys. We'll be going back out to Petsmart tonight, to buy the rest of the things we need for her! This weekend is a four day weekend for me, so it works out perfectly!

Tonight the Canes play game one in the series against the Pens! GO CANES! We will be going out to Mom's and Matt's to watch the first part of the game with the family! Life is good! And I am so blessed. I'm looking ahead to the future and all the wonderful things God really does have in store for me and my family! The future truly does look bright......and I honestly did buy a pair of sunglasses. I've being needing a pair for a while :)
