And Life goes On.........

First off, you guys have no idea how glad I am that the election is over. I can honestly say that I did not care who won this past election. I am just glad it is over! I don't have to see anymore campaign commercials! Thank God! So I guess we made our mark on history and now have Obama as the first black president of the US. I only hope that he can truly do all the things that he has promised. I didn't like McCain and I didn't like Obama or where either of them stood on the issues and their policies. Personally I would have voted for Hilary. lol. But it doesn't matter. It is over now and life goes on!

Last night four out of the five of my beautiful bridesmaids and I all went to David's Bridal. We went so they could try on different dresses, and so I could finally make a decision. I actually had a lot of fun! We have decided for sure that the color will be Lapis. And I'm torn between two of the dress designs. I'm definitely leaning more towards one than the other. I'll decide for sure in the next few days. We have to get them ordered due to that dumb twenty weeks thing!!!!!

Also I checked my mail this morning, and we got our engagement pictures back!!!! Yay! I was so excited. I put them up on my facebook and myspace. There's a few not so flattering ones in there, but overall they turned out great. Our photographer is awesome!!!!! Now we just have to narrow it down to our favorite and have him frame an 8 by 10 of it. I don't know how to choose just one!

Anyway I think that's about all that is going on in our lives these days. Busy with wedding planning and holidays and all that fun stuff! I have Friday off and I actually don't have anything planned!!!! It's amazing and I am excited about it!
